The healthcare team can rearrange these segments as a patient’s needs change, without having to replace the whole mattress. The mattress is made up of several layers, including a strong support foam with reinforced edges. Inside, premium cold foam sections can be adjusted based on a patient’s weight and ulcer severity, with softness varying by body area for more personalised support. An extra 4cm layer of viscoelastic foam helps prevent pressure points forming when the patient changes position. Equipped with a: bi-elastic fluid proof washable breathable cover featuring a removable top plate with a divisible zipper, the mattress is easy to clean.
