Designed for AmbiFlex® P12 pipe The coupling is designed specifically for Ambiente AmbiFlex® P12 pipe, which has a 12mm outside diameter and 1.5mm wall thickness. It should not be used with 16mm P16, T16 or M16 pipe, which require their own dedicated manifold couplings. Connects to the 413 Series manifold The 3/4″ connection fits compatible circuit outlets on Ambiente manifolds beginning with product code 413. The coupling can be used on either the flow or return bar to secure the relevant pipe end to the manifold. Two couplings per circuit Every UFH pipe loop has two manifold connections: one to the flow bar and one to the return bar. Two couplings are therefore normally required per circuit. For example, a six-loop manifold installation using P12 pipe will normally require 12 couplings. Installation and testing The pipe should be cut cleanly and square before the coupling components are fitted and the pipe is fully inserted. The connection should be tightened in accordance with the manifold installation instructions, and the completed pipework must be pressure tested before being permanently concealed.
